We have officially reached the halfway point of the week. If you’re feeling a bit indecisive about whether to work hard or hardly work today, don't worry. The weather feels exactly the same way. A weak high-pressure system is currently in charge, but it’s holding on by a thread, giving us a day that is neither fully sunny nor fully miserable.
Today is going to be a bit of a mixed bag. The skies will be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, acting a bit shy with the sunshine. There is a chance of isolated light showers, just enough to annoy you if you just washed your car, but probably not enough to water the plants. The winds are starting the morning confused and weak, blowing variably, before eventually settling into a northeast to southeast flow at a moderate pace. The sea remains calm to slightly rough, and temperatures are the real hero here, rising to a very pleasant 22°C inland and on the coast. If you are heading up to the higher mountains, bring a layer, as it will be around 12°C.
Tonight, the vibe remains much the same. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with the lingering potential for those isolated light showers. The winds will shift again, blowing weakly from the northwest to northeast, keeping things relatively calm while we sleep.
However, enjoy this mild uncertainty while it lasts, because the plot thickens starting tomorrow. From Thursday onwards, our least favorite guest, dust, is expected to make an appearance in the atmosphere. Thursday will also bring more clouds and isolated showers, serving as the opening act for a much dramatic weekend.
By Friday, a new low-pressure system will begin to develop. The day will start mostly cloudy, but by the evening, we are looking at local rain and thunderstorms kicking off in the west and south before spreading elsewhere. Saturday is set to be properly cloudy with rain, storms, and a noticeable drop in temperature. So, savor today's 22°C and keep your car wash money in your pocket for now!
